We're looking for someone like who can provide business-related services and support to UBS Asset Management's Institutional Client Coverage: – be responsible for ongoing planning related to market development – support the front units in their sales activities – conceptualize, launch and monitor sales initiatives – monitor external client needs regarding products, tools and services, and relay trends to product specialists – help management cultivate the growth potential of their market, providing facts and figures to support the sales processes – develop and implement business-wide action plans and key initiatives – instigate change initiatives that drive the business forward, aligned with global strategy – build comprehensive knowledge of our range of investment strategies and pitch capabilities, including both traditional and alternative portfolios – create a strategic client book development plan with measurable actions – make sure all activities and business opportunities are reflected on internal systems
Your team You'll be working in the Global Institutional Client Coverage team in Chicago. The team is supporting the growth strategy of Asset Management's global institutional business across the four distribution regions Switzerland, EMEA, The Americas and APAC with resources in Zurich, Chicago and Hong Kong. The team is ensuring development and execution of the global strategy as well as direct support of the regional client coverage teams. Located in Chicago you will be an integral part of the global Institutional Sales and Business Management team as well as supporting the Head of the Americas Institutional Client Coverage team on their strategy for the US, Canada and Latin America.
Your experience and skills You have: – a university degree in economics or business administration – experience within the asset management industry (in a sales or business management role, ideally) – a strategic thinker with a passion for working with management to develop and execute on the plan for building UBS' institutional asset management business – incredibly organized, with an innate sense of how to prioritize (you make lists and get things checked off) – an excellent communicator, with great presentation skills – always professional (but you have the human touch)
