Employs a client-focused, strategic approach to develop the business case for firm offerings in the marketplace through in-depth and complex analyses on client segments, the competitive landscape and the industry environment. Demonstrates in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of mutual funds, the marketplace and client needs to drive product growth/development and maximize profitability.
Reviews and assesses product mix, leveraging market and client insights and related complex analyses, in order to identify opportunities and/or gaps within FundVest. Identifies areas for enhancement or new/innovative features. Provides actionable strategies to management for closing gaps. The candidate will be required to participate in industry organizations in order to establish Pershing as a thought leader and improve firm-wide knowledge and expertise
Creates product development roadmaps and establishes evaluation criteria and success metrics. Leads development of pricing, promotion, distribution strategies and competitive differentiators. Positions products for specific client segments highlighting key benefits and
Works closely with Relationship Management/Business Development/Account Management teams to deliver on sales and market share goals. Collaborates with Marketing to raise awareness and increase FundVest adoption and utilization. Receives and responds to client inquiries. Works closely with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure that products adhere to the necessary regulatory requirements.
A significant portion of this role will involve frequent interaction with Asset Manager partners to help them navigate Pershing, identify opportunities, negotiate and facilitate the execution of contracts and troubleshoot issues.
Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
7-10+ years of total work experience preferred; Product Management experience preferred.
Applicable FINRA licenses preferred (e.g., Series 7, 24 63, etc.) in regulated areas of the firm.
