Description Our client is a global private equity firm focusing on growth equity investments and special situations, with a diverse portfolio across Technology, Healthcare, Energy, and Industrial sectors. They are a mid-sized firm with more than $2 billion AUM, and are looking to bring on an Operations Guru to lead the build-out of new capabilities and improve existing processes.
The role is high-profile with significant freedom to develop and execute initiatives and solutions, and will be actively engaging with senior management on a constant basis. It will be operating out of their Los Angeles office.
Provide high-level oversight of all portfolio and performance reporting processes, operating across multiple entities
Oversee and improve the centralized FP&A function, and support portfolio/equity valuation efforts
Select and design efficient portfolio reporting solutions, and work closely with technology teams and vendors on the implementation and integration thereof
Interface with C-level executives and senior management at portfolio companies, and participate in fund on-boarding processes
Take a leading role in firm-wide strategic initiatives, and drive efficiency solutions between internal departments where appropriate
Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
Minimum 10+ years in Finance, and 6+ years direct experience with FP&A and Business Modelling
Rotational program at a top-tier investment bank/consulting firm required
Direct experience working in an enterprise software environment (at a vendor, vendor management etc.)
Highly tech-literate with working knowledge of SQL, Macros, Excel etc.
Outstanding information/data management capacity and an insightful/inquisitive mind with an affinity for driving change and process improvement
