Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. The individual will have a proven track record in the development, testing and deployment of complex applications. Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities but requires instruction and guidance in other phases. The candidate must have excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills with a detail oriented mind set. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or related field. Knowledge of Microsoft technology and the ability to meet the needs of a growing and evolving business environment. Must have 3 plus years of hands on experience with one or more of the following tools/technologies: .Net 3.5+ (C# and VB), Oracle, SQL Server (2005 and 2008), SSIS, Reporting Tools (Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and MS Reporting Services), SharePoint Services, ASP.Net, Silverlight and Microsoft Team Foundation Server. Role requires familiarity with software development processes and disciplines. Knowledge of the financial services industry and/or Fixed Income is a plus.
