Under the general supervision, the RFP Analyst completes standard Request For Proposals, Request For Information and Due Diligence questionnaires (RFP, RFI, DDQ) responses, which accurately and favorably present The Boston Company s (TBCAM) investment products/services to prospective clients or existing TBCAM clients. S/He will respond to RFPs in light of the organization's products, services, capabilities, stated account minimums, and legal guidelines. The incumbent is also responsible for assisting with ad-hoc projects, and participating in greater TBCAM initiatives. This candidate will be expected to work with internal constituents to ensure effective coordination and communication of our marketing and sales efforts and any other work as assigned.
The qualified candidate will have a BA/BS degree and designation of, or demonstrated progress towards, a CFA and/or MBA is desirable. S/he must have a minumum of 1-3 years of industry experience in Investment Management, with direct experience with RFPs and/or consultant databases required. The candidate must have an understanding of the investment management business, the ability to understand TBCAM products and services, and the RFP and consultant questionnaire response process, and a knowledge of the PMAPS system is preferred. In addition, the candidate must possess strong organizational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work accurately under tight deadlines. S/he must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence constituents to desired outcome. The candidate must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as exceptional written and oral communication. S/he must demonstrate a solid work ethic and professionalism, and be motivated, willing to take initiative and committed to self and team development. The candidate must exercise excellent business judgment, situational awareness, listening and interpretation skills.
