| The incumbent manages, develops and evaluates the staff responsible for servicing institutional clients consisting banks, broker/dealers, major corporations, investment advisors, financial planners, municipalities and insurance firms. Works closely with senior management to advance the quality of servicing Institutional clients totaling approximately $42 billion in assets within budgetary constraints. Establishes sound working relationships with all Dreyfus sales forces and wholesalers. Additionally, the incumbent manages several concurrent initiatives pertaining to technology and operations, with a multitude of contacts. |
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Series 6 or 7, 63 & 26. Minimum 4 year's financial industry experience with at least 3 years in management as well as involvement in budget planning and/or financial analysis. Ability to work well under pressure. Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills as well as time management skills to prioritize workload and deliver timely results. PC skills and MS Office knowledge required. Strong knowledge of Institutional operations procedures preferred.
