| This individual will provide analytical and research assistance for the local government ratings teams located in Moody's San Francisco office. Responsibilities include assisting regional team members in analyzing a wide variety of local government debt transactions, including cities, counties and special districts, throughout the western United States. The position requires in-depth data analysis and related research to support the completion of special projects and the publication of high quality issuer and sector publications. The individual must be able to manage several priority tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines. |
Regional PFG West
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative field
- knowledge of financial concepts, economics, and statistics
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- strong analytical skills
- ability to work independently and manage own workflow/priorities
- strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SQL and databases required
