Job Purpose (Job Summary): Invesco is seeking an experienced emerging markets credit analyst to be based in Atlanta. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of corporate credits primarily within CEEMEA & LATAM markets.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
Driving performance at security level for assigned EM coverage set and provide value add to the investment process at industry and sub-industry levels, working closely with other analysts and portfolio managers
Ensure integrity and adherence of credit research process, including alignment to IFI philosophy, consistency in approach, and delivery of output requirements. Work with emerging market team to monitor key portfolio risks
Partner with Head of EM research, PMs, and CPM in supporting the business commercially, including client engagement, sales support, thought leadership and other branding initiatives when called upon
Participate in relevant IFI sector teams and support IFI summits
Engagement and support for all PMs and more broadly, ensure cross-over ideas are communicated appropriately across relevant teams
Active engagement and coordination with other IFI investors to support top down and bottom up initiatives as needed
May assist other analysts and portfolio managers with sovereign research
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Minimum of seven years sell or buy-side Emerging Markets Research experience within fixed income
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
Strong fundamental credit analytical ability with attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
CFA, Masters/Degree in Finance or Economics preferred
FLSA (US Only): Exempt
